BYRON NEMETH TO PAY TRIBUTE TO JIMI HENDRIX DURING LA AMP SHOW

(26 September 2011 - Los Angeles, CA) Scottsdale, AZ based guitar hero, Byron Nemeth, plans to commemorate Jimi Hendrix's burial date of Oct. 1 1970 during his appearance at LA Amp Show Oct. 1 and 2.

Nemeth will be heading to the roof of the Airtel Plaza Hotel at approximately 4:20 pm to play The Star Spangled Banner as performed by Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock and to light a guitar on fire in Hendrix memory. ""Honoring Hendrix by replicating his very controversial rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner on electric guitar is the most important political rock statement that needs to be done today to wake people up to new music," says Nemeth. "This delivery of screaming guitar and ballistic feedback will shock and inspire listeners to a new vision of what modern rock should be instead of the watered down corporate drivel we have been forced feed in recent years."

Byron will be representing Moore Amps and the company's new model Mooresound 1013 Amp Class A 20 Watt Single Channel All Tube Amplifier throughout the weekend.

BYRON NEMETH GROUP'S 'THE FORCE WITHIN' RE-ISSUED THROUGH DIGITAL NATIONS

(18 July 2011 - Encino, CA)  Digital Nations Music, a division of world renowned record label, Favored Nations, has re-issued the acclaimed fourth album from the Byron Nemeth Group, The Force Within.

Initially released in 2007 via Pacifica Records, The Force Within established Nemeth as a force to be reckoned with and put him amongst the ranks of up and coming guitarists such as Rob Balducci, Dave Weiner, Matthias IA Eklundh, Eric Mantel and Neil Zaza, amongst others.

Nemeth was bitten by the musical bug at the age of 5 when he first heard The Beatles and was then turned onto the likes of Randy Rhoads, Michael Schenker, Jimmy Page, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, all of whom influenced his playing, along with Dream Theater, Rush and jazz and classical music.  When he was 18 Byron formed his first band, Sacred Heart and played the Cleveland club circuit up to NYC landmarks such as CBGB and The Cat Club. Nemeth began making a name for himself as a guitarist to keep an eye on throughout this time period.

On the future Byron foresees working on writing a new metal album with a vocalist. "This new direction will feature lots of guitar driven compositions in the mix with great vocals and a brand new line up for the band,"  he asserts. "The songs will have great hooks, over the top guitar playing and great singing with thought provoking lyrics that move people, I want the new music to sound very authentic and exciting to listen to. It's time to bring back great songwriting with great playing that's been missing from the scene for a long time."
